Just finished watching the whole of "HAZBIN HOTEL" season 1 in Amazon Prime - spoilers within!

Easter Egg from the new episode.

“They always put Foxxie or Roxxie; I hate that.”

And Moxxie’s overly complicated coffee order.

And Blitzø wants something ICED, BITCH!

Really liked this episode…!

The scenes of Blitzø’s traumatic past that the infestor demon forces him to see via hallucinations are heartbreaking and terrifying.

Being made to watch his mother’s death by burning again is one of the most harrowing scenes I have seen in a long time. And that little “mama” of his…!

Also the hallucinatory Millies from the “what if” scenarios from past episodes where she could have died are scary AF.

Additionally, it is obvious that John Waters had a BLAST voicing Ronaldo.

I really liked this episode.

(And the client’s design was cool and funny. I liked the fact that her head was just floating over her body in her demon form, and you can see that she was killed by decapitation. )

John FRIGGIN’ Waters, the Pope of Trash himself! My opinion of Medrano has just gone up.

A fan has put together a reel showing Blitzø’s memories comparing them to the original scenes from the show.

The effort the animators put into this is fantastic. They redrew the relevant scenes to show them in “first person perspective” as they would have been perceived by Blitzø.

I love it.

The link to the reel is here:

A couple of weeks ago, the newest episode dropped. “Mastermind” is the new one for November. Nothing will ever be the same after this one.

Tganks for the heads-up.

Wonderful episode, and an absolute earthquake for the situation of the characters from now on.

Spoiler: What worries me now is whether Stella and Andrealphus won’t try to straight up murder Stolas and/or Octavia in order to keep all of Stolas’ possessions in their hands (and prevent everything from going to Octavia when she becomes of age).

I wonder if Blitzø will hire more employees.

Season 2’s finale, “Sinsmas”, dropped today.

Well that was cheerful.

I loved the episode.

I also loved seeing Andrealphus being badly beaten by a bunch of imps, a hellhound and a depowered Stolas. Yes, in the end Octavia had to intervene, but the others managed to land very serious hits!

And… Millie is pregnant?!?! Holy macaroni - what is she going to do? Will she keep the little imp? She seemed very shocked…

Fridge Horror: Satan was going to execute I.M.P. last episode. Millie was surely in very early pregnancy at the time.

So what happens when an imp or other denizen of Hell dies? Just cease to exist? Go to a Hell Hell?

The consensus seems to be that hellborns simply experience cessation of existence upon death.

At least it is on the way. Everybody expects long waits between seasons now anyway.

I guess that season 2 of “Hazbin Hotel” will be out before season 3 of “Helluva Boss”.

There are people on a Helluva Boss Facebook page suggesting that Millie is shocked and alarmed about the pregnancy because the baby isn’t Moxie’s.

I call bullshit on that. The two are very loyal to one another. I think it’s because they’re very poor.

Agree with you - it is extremely unlikely, seen how devoted they are to each other, that Millie would have cheated on Moxxie. It does not fit their dynamics (and also their relationship acts as a contrast with the relationship between Stolas and Stella).

However, I do not think that Millie is scared of her pregnancy because they are poor. Or, at least, I do not think it is the only reason.

Other reasons for Millie to be worried about having a kid are:

-Their job. They are professional assassins. That is a risky job that can put her unborn baby in danger.

-Independence. Millie left her family after helping raise her siblings, searching for freedom and the ability to do what she wanted, not to feel tied to her family’s farm without prospects of future. In my opinion that also weighs on her - she may see herself being catapulted back to the situation she ran away from.

-Enemies. I.M.P. has made a bunch of enemies, some of them rather powerful and dangerous: Andrealphus, the DHORKS and the cherubs, Crimson (Moxxie’s father)… those elements would not hesitate to try and hurt the baby to hurt them. Millie may also be scared because she feels that they cannot protect the baby from all the dangers that it would be exposed to.

-Also, imps are the absolute bottom of the social scale and she may be reluctant to have a baby that would have to go through all the bullshit imps are subjected to.

Anyway, just my two cents here!

Wow, I Love Alastor Too!
