I just signed up to go to E3 or the Electronic Entertainment Expo. It’s the big video game convention here in L.A. It’s industry only but luckily I work for a company with ties to the video game business. I’m not a huge game fan anymore but I find it interesting.
Anyone else going or have been?
Awesome. I’ve wanted to go for a long time, but I don’t have any “insider” connections that’d get me in. Life’s not fair 
I booked my tickets and those of my workers yesterday. I go every year (you can find jealousy-inspiring threads if you look). It’s cool enough. But it’s a job for me…not all fun.
On the up side I’ve hung out with everyone. Al Lowe once gave me his very own Leisure Suit Larry condoms!
I’ll be there this year, directing a commercial. It’ll be my first time there, although I’ve always wanted to go, as I’m a big video game fan. We’ll actually probably only be shooting for a couple of hours there, so hopefully I get to spend the rest of the day just hanging out and playing games!
