Just what IS Lynne Russell typing into that laptop at the end of her CNN broadcast?

I just noticed this . . at the end of Headline News, anchorwoman Lynne Russell turns from the camera and as it pans out, she starts typing on a laptop. Exactly what is she typing? Or is it like one of those “fake” things that anchors do when the camera pans out (like pretending to chatter, etc.).

Or is she replying to emails? Building a website for her security firm? Actually digging up new stories off Excite.com…??

Actually, she’s breaking into your bank account and credit records and stealing your identity. You need to stop her! Quick!

Or…she’s just pretending.

It’s one of those two.

It should be obvious. She’s posting to the board.

She’s been hammering my IM like a bad-mother; I told her that what was past is past, but she insists that a mere restraining order could not come between our love.

Probably an update from the producer or director about changes for the next half hour. She might be typing in commands to see what changes have been sent. Or she could be editing the script for the next broadcast.

HotSexyLynne4u: so my broadcast is over i have 4 minutes
StudMusclesHOT: ive been stroking it thinking of you
HotSexyLynne4u: that story on the kuwaiti’s made me wet.
StudMusclesHOT: come over tonight, let’s do like they do
on the discovery channel.
HotSexyLynne4u: i will. BRB. 30 seconds to air.
StudMusclesHOT: i’ll be here. just leave the laptop on. i
will type dirty messages to you during the
“play of the day” segment.

The “typing the scrpt and updates for the next broadcast” theory would work, except this occured at the end of her shift.

Heh…the first laugh of my awful, hideous day.

Don’t know what she’s typing but that woman got a serious make-over a couple of years ago. She’s still a far cry from Nathalie Allen (Hmmmmm, Nathalie!) but much more ‘palatable’ (i.e. less of a horsey face) nowadays. IMHO.

On what Turner pays? She’s probably working on her resume.

Ooooh. Unfortunately I don’t get to see CNN too much during the day, but I know exactly what you mean!
