Justice League Unlimited - NEw Season

Begins September 17th, according to what I’ve heard.

Some (brief) summaries of upcoming episodes are here :

Legion of Doom! Carter Hall! Skartaris! Viking Prince! Flash Museum, and the Rogues! DEADMAN! The Seven Freakin’ Soldiers of Victory!

Skartaris! they are going to Skartaris!
Travis freakin Morgan! I can’t wait.

Drools.

They’ve gotta get Adam Strange in there somewhere. They just gotta.

I am excited about the Rogue’s Gallery.

The one with the seven unpowered superheroes reminds me how lame Vigilante seemed in the episode where he, GL and Hawkgirl were hunted by the Thangarians.

He’s just a guy with a gun…

The Seven Soldiers will most likely include Green Arrow, Vigilante, Shining Knight, Stargirl, STRIPE, and the Crimson Avenger, plus one other… possibly Nemesis, doing something for the first time?

The ghost of a circus performer? As in… a dead man?

No, DEADMAN! Say it loud!

Deadman! Deadman!

Well, they did mention a mysterious archaeologist…

Most likely that will be Carter Hall.

Ah. Good point.

I’m very excited. Although, I still don’t think that they will be able to top what has already come.

A quick question about the episode capsules in the OPs link… I thought that Shining Knight was ‘super powered’.

I’m still hoping that Doomsday finds a way out of the phantom zone.

Sir Justin, The Shining Knight has mystic armor, and a mystic sword, and a winged horse… but doesn’t really have any superpowers.

I could have sworn that it was him who nearly punched through a metal door on the Watchtower during Panic in the Sky, not once but twice.

I don’t recall it, but I can doublecheck that when I get a chance… if so, then it’d be a switch from the comics.

I just watched the episode and SK was hanging, as he usually does, with Vigilante and Atom Smasher when they encountered ‘Task Force X’ - with the armour. I don’t doubt that Atom Smasher has the power to dent the door, but he was tied up with the armour and SK was seperated from the group at large. The scene also shows that Vigilante has his hat on way too tight.

Saturday. 10-11PM, EST. Two episodes. Don’t miss them.

Even still, Star Girl and Stripe are powered.

Sure, they use weapons for their power, but counting them as non-powered would be like saying Green lantern is a non-powered hero because he uses a weapon, right?

There’s a threshhold there, somewhere. Batman’s Utility belt. Green Arrow’s bow and trick arrows. Technically, GL is a normal human - but the sheer magnitude of the weapon he bears makes one want to lump him in with the big guns.

Stargirl and STRIPE are speculation on Lou’s part, but reasonable speculation, since their comic predecessors were in the original Seven Soldiers.
