K-13 is her favorite song, if you play it you might have a chance

OK, I think I’ve changed my mind. Carrie Underwood’s “Before he Cheats”… you know, the one where she trashes his car.

Close the thread.

Maybe, but if she looks anything like Charlize Theron in Monster I am out the door.

(Disclaimer = youtube has deemed this scene “inappropriate” for some viewers. Michelle Shocked for one, would be…sickened.)

Kerosene

“Now I don’t hate the one who left
You can’t hate someone who’s dead
He’s out there holding on to someone, I’m holding up my smoking gun
I’ll find somewhere to lay my blame the day she changes her last name
Well I’m giving up on love 'cause love’s given up on me”

Well there’s a chance it’s Authority Song. But just because the DJ doesn’t have JMC Automatic.

My husband says it’s Jerry Lee Lewis doing ‘Frankie and Johnny’.

In my mind-drama the setup calls for Starland Vocal Band - AFTERNOON DELIGHT(1976) - AMERICA’S TOP SINGLE OF 1976

She’s playing Laura Bell Bundy Giddy On Up all night long. Would not recommend you try to stop her.

I Am Woman hear me roar.

Run Joey Run would drive anyone to drink and murder.

Anything by Lucinda Williams.

I’m of several schools of thought on what it could be.

Perhaps it’s a 15-year-old girl-power country anthem like “Man, I Feel Like a Woman” that would get her doing the no-pants dance on the hood of a Trans Am behind the Piggly Wiggly up the road at the end of the night.

Or perhaps her favorite song is the one that reminds her of listening to the radio while putting back a bottle of Strawberry Hill with her girlfriends when she was young; some ultra annoying feel-good ‘party’ song like “Mambo #5.”

Or perhaps there’s the possibility she gets all squishy for a sing-along hair-band acoustic ballad like “Patience.”

"Don’t Stop Believin’ " is another great one.

I just don’t know here. I just don’t know.

Something from when she was a teenager. If she’s 40 look at the mid to late 80s. You have go deeper than the drunken memories, back to her innocence. You’ll have a great time, and she’ll jump off a bridge tomorrow.

For a tequila rage? Love Stinks, J. Geils Band

Or maybe What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Tina Turner

Honky Tonk Woman by the Rolling Stones

or Stand by your Man by Tammy Wynette

Electric Cafe by Kraftwerk. (I know. You wouldn’t believe it, but it is!)

Piece of My Heart, by Joplin

Well, my answer totally got taken.

Somehow I think if you played that song, she’d cut your nuts off.

Something I noticed last night, by chance, is that even though I made this post “out of the blue” there’s another mention of this song in another thread (that I didn’t see until last night) within just an hour or so of this one. It made me wonder if the vibes are in the air and only heard by a sensitive few. Your post confirms the suspicion.

I have been meaning to insert this oneinto the mix to see how many beer bottles and bar stools would be hurled at the jukebox the nanosecond after it started playing.
