Cool ad. Ends with “it’s time to be a man and vote for a woman.”
His endorsement isn’t a surprise, and it likely doesn’t move the needle at all In Arizona. Still, it’s nice to have in the book.
After spending the weekend in Pennsylvania all you battlegrounders have my sympathy. Incessant ads and it seems like 90% are anti-Harris attack ads. From my very small sampling it feels like she is getting outspent here.
Maybe it would help if Harris sat down for an interview with a local station in PA.
“Action News” sounds made-up. Like “Anchorman.”
Three Trump signs have gone up since I put up my Harris sign, including one directly across the street (the house with the Cybertruck).
For real? Or am I being whooshed? We’ve had Channel 6 Action News in Philly forever.
No, they’re just saying it’s the kind of name a screenwriter would go to first for a fictional local news broadcast.
That’s because it’s a very common name for real local news programs.
Which is something I find very weird. Hatred of electric cars is now deeply engrained into the right. Elon makes a few tweets and now it’s ok to buy a tesla. For some anyway
Oh, I didn’t buy an electric car! I bought a Tesla!
The trademarked Action News format, now owned by something called the Cox Media Group, originated on channel 6 in Philadelphia.
I’m a centrist. So if Harris was running against Susan Collins, and Collins was taking lots of difficult interviews, and answering penetrating questions well, while Harris talked to Action News, this would influence my vote. And if Collins made a few gaffes during highly challenging interviews Harris turns down, I’d forgive Collins.
This case is so different. Trump isn’t showing up Harris with his sophisticated interview performances. And Harris has no need to prove she’s steadier under stress than Trump — it is already clear. Most voters know it — her personal approval figures are already way ahead of Trump’s. Under those circumstances, risking a big gaffe, during a Washington Post interview, may not be worth it.
Yes, sorry. I meant this. It just sounds generic (and doubtless we have an Action News around here that I’m unaware of).
I can still hear the theme now. Best use of a quartal chord ever.
I’ve seen a number of Harris signs pop up in our neighborhood recently (including our yard) but haven’t seen a single Trump sign. We leave near the edge of town and there’s a guy outside our neighborhood across the county road who is a known Trumper, and he’s got some kind of banner hanging on the side of his garage, but it’s so far back off the road you can’t read it.
Harris signs are popping up a lot in and near Cleveland, Ohio. Go half an hour out of town in any direction, and it’s All Trump, All The Time.
Around me if there is a sign out 90% chance it’s for Trump. I’m in a reddish area of a very blue state.
Just like “I have insurance through the ACA, not that commie Obamacare.” Or the Tea Party olde but goodie “Keep your government hands off my Medicare.”
I am in Rehoboth Beach through Election Day, there are many Harris signs and “Thank You Joe” signs. Very few Trump signs in town (in the surrounding countryside is a different stors). Although there is this guy:
I’ve been seeing Harris ads here in Tennessee. Is her campaign really that flush?
