I just saw a brief snippet from his first rally - to call it a train wreck would be far too nice. But, America, you have form in this regard. Is Trump-West 2020 too far off the mark?

Biden is fine. Hillary would have been fine (or better). The idea that Kayne West would be a better president than Biden is crazy. Kayne would be better than Trump, but that’s a low bar.

People worship wealth.
Furthermore many very wealthy people live in a bubble. I don’t mean they’re keeping poor people away, they’re keeping everyone away except specially selected friends and staff who tolerate their BS. This is not a feature of all or even most very wealthy people, but this is a common “risk factor”.
I’ve read accounts of the rambling statements made by Donald Trump and Kanye West this weekend. I concluded West is worse. But it was disturbingly close.
Which is worse, being dropped into a vat of powerful acid or being dropped into a vat of lava? Does it matter?

I admit I’m having a hard time coming up with much compassion and/or empathy for a guy who is stinking rich, world famous AND married to a beautiful and wealthy woman and who’s current woes have only to do with his own actions and the failures of those close to him to stop him from those actions.
