Nah, just pragmatic, I think his past does follow him, and once again: someone in this administration is guilty as hell, the 8 ball shows Rove right now, but even if he gets away, it is extremely unlikely that Rove does not know who the leakers are.
As I said before: we have an administration of cowards because (seeing the future pragmatically) even if they get punished by this, they will have a good future with the powerful that disregard failings like this one.
