I think intellect is less of a requirement now than it used to be. Previously it would be necessary to keep all he lies consistent or risk having the contradictory statements pointed out exposing the lie. Funnily enough, I don’t have a fair-dinkum Strine Aussie accent. More often than not I’m mistaken for a Brit, even here. I blame my grandmother who insisted on British English being spoken in the home. Along with table-manners, and fucking spelling.
