It wouldn’t be surprising if she wrote a book about her experiences. Unless the Trump aura turns to shit among supporters a lot faster and more intensely than is likely, her book would probably focus on backstabbing rivals in the Administration rather than being a tell-all.
*Leavitt has reportedly been making close to $200K annually, which is a drop in the bucket considering her husband’s wealth.

I have seen speculation from MSNOW talking heads to the effect that she left because of Trump’s plane switch. While some of Trump’s lackeys (including “human printer” Natalie Harp) got to ride in the “safe” plane, Leavitt was one of the sacrificial ones and apparently did not like this. I don’t have a source for it but I do enjoy the idea that there are some lines that Trump will casually cross that will result in his people stabbing him in the back in kind. Although being at all surprised that Trump would leave anyone and everyone behind to die is really a “no shit” moment.

Didn’t Karoline just have a baby?? I can see why she might be pissed being left on the threatened plane as mother of an infant, but not seeing something like that coming is pretty idiotic if true.
My speculation is that this was likely the metaphorical “last straw”. It can’t be easy being a spokesperson for a hateful, abrasive lunatic who contradicts even himself from one moment to the next. I think Leavitt is a horrible person but I can sympathize with the stress of having to face journalists demanding rational explanations for the irrational actions of a demented lunatic.
