According to IMDB and other online sources, Kathy Griffin played herself in Pulp Fiction. I’ve seen the movie several times and cannot think of when/how this happened. Can someone help?
well, she isn’t mentioned in this version of the screenplay: http://www.godamongdirectors.com/scripts/pulp.shtml
Judging from where her name is placed in the extended cast list, it would seem she’s in the street scene where Bruce Willis runs into Ving Rhames in the car and then crashes. I don’t remember the scene well and don’t have the DVD, but that would be where to look, I suspect.
Sorry, no other clues. Could be her scene was cut.
Yeah, Bill, I looked there too. In the apparently sequential cast listing, she is between Gawker #1 and Pedestrian.
She appears in the scene right after Bruce Willis’ character has hit Marcel Wallace with the car. She is one of the people who run over to help him. She has one line of dialog, something along the lines of “That crazy guy over there did it.”
In the scene where Butch drives his car into Marsellus she’s one of the bystanders who rushes over to see if Marsellus is alright. I believe she even has a line, something like: “I saw everything if you need a witness” or “that guy was a maniac”, or something. I just assumed she was playing Bystander #3 (or whatever); strange that she’s cast as herself. I suppose she probably does live in LA, though.
I’m amazed that within the span of three minutes there were four almost identical replies to this, all worded slightly differently. We’d make good eye witnesses ourselves, gang.
