Hm, yes, that pesky passive voice leaves it unclear who’s doing the announcing, doesn’t it? The date when Katy and Russell, or their spokespeople, announce that the papers have been filed.
And if they do a Sean Penn/Robin Wright thing where they go back and forth about four times before actually getting divorced – whatever. Date of the first official announcement.
