Well this guy was a bit of a scaredy cat and I think it makes the video that much funnier.
I do feel for him a little though. Those geese can be pretty mean. I’ve never had one attack me while I’m on my kayak but I’ve been chased by a few before.
Alright. I don’t get scared very easily. I’m not the toughest, but tough enough.
There’s a hundred and ten percent chance I’d have done that badly or worse against that goose.

It reminds me of a pet mallard duck we had growing up. For some reason the duck hated me with a white hot intensity - unless I had food for him. (French fries and Sugar Pops were his favorites.) When I was laying out in the yard on a chaise lounge type lawn chair, he used to sneak up behind me and fly over my head and land on my chest and start pecking at me. The duck was completely insane - he thought my dog (a very tolerant male collie) was his mother and would follow him wherever he went, including out on walks. Hmmm, now that I think about it, maybe the duck was jealous as the dog was very attached to me…
The goose got sneaky there, went for him from the back. Geese are mean, I don’t blame him!
