The very first time I took the test, I came up INTP. The I, N and P aspects were strongly pronounced, but the T was sort of near the middle. Since then, I have mutated into an INFP.
I noticed this, too. I lurked here for a while before I started posting. I joined because I felt “at home” with the group of people on SDMB. This is the only message board I really like out on the web.
I KNOW it is something to do with the board, but I can’t put a finger on it. Maybe it’s just the simple pleasure of meeting other folks who are like-minded? This is intriguing.
eStJ - Guardian Supervisor here.
Let’s get this thread in order! Stick to the point, people, and stop with the detours already. We have a job to do here, and I’m gonna see that we do it right!
Yep, I can see that.
I’m an INFP…everytime I take the test, it comes out the same way, including the time I was professionally tested.
Angie, we were playing around with the Spark’s test this weekend. I found out I’m way more compatable with Globe-trotter than my husband. And since we know that the Spark’s tests are always 100% accurate…
Me again. My husband of fifteen years is a Fieldmarshal! What an interesting pair we make.
Another INFP here. I’ve taken this test about 10 times and always come up the same, but my “NFP” is toward the middle of the scale. I couldn’t be more “I” though.

Anyone want coffee? Tea? Snacky-cakes? Y’all having a good time? Just checking. Charades, anyone? Hey, let’s put on a show! My uncle has an abandoned barn we can use!
[That just doesn’t seem like me. I’m taking that again.]
Every time I have taken this test, I always come up with iNTj. After reading the description found here:
http://keirsey.com/personality/ntij.html
I realize that it really doesn’t sound like me at all. Yet I always get this particular result. Maybe I’m a born leader and have just never realized it. The examples of people who were apparently the same types of personality are Sir Isaac Newton, Peter I of Russia, Fredrich Nietzsche, and Niels Bohr.

I tried both the Temperament Sorter and the Character Sorter.
Character Sorter:
eStP - Artisan
Temperament Sorter:
eNFj - Idealist/Teacher
Not sure I agree with those descriptions. Hmm.
INFP here. Been that way since I first took the Myers-Briggs in college, more than 12 years ago.
Pardon me while I retreat back into my shell.
What a coincidence, I just took this test (again) last week. (It had been a few years.) This time I came up as iNFj – Idealist Counselor.
Hi Nimue…I think I know you from somewhere else
I’m INFP…which is perfect, as the most common type where I work is ESTJ…the exact opposite…figures…
