Dunno. Why don’t you try walking unescorted into the White House and let us know how that goes for you?
You must have been home schooled.
We are not the government; that would be a direct democracy, which the US has never been. America is a representative democracy. Our representatives are the government, and they serve at our pleasure. But the people are not the government.
Any research into the world of euphemisms can find cases were one-syllable words were replaced with terms of five or more syllables, to varying degrees of success, without adding to the definition. For example, is “terminate with extreme prejudice” anything more than an overcomplication of “kill” ?
Don’t take it so personally. All college students are stupid. You’ve never heard that “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing”?
As for the “ageism” thing, there’s not enough of these
But those are used for legal/political purposes, and do have some use there.
Oh, well, in that case, fuck you even more.
You’re insulting me because I’m young and I’m not supposed to be pissed at you?
See? You can’t even read the rules before posting.
I forgot about that new rule, yes. You know what, to hell with this. I really don’t care what you think, since you’re completely deluded.
Shut up, junior-mod wannabe.
You’re just bitter because your party of know-nothings is hanging with their two and a half inches of fun flapping in the breeze and with no one to cry to.
It isn’t exactly new, anymore. Pay attention, for once.
It’s from the beginning of March. Close enough to new, considering how long this board’s been around (in various forms).
Says another college student. Color me unimpressed.
And it was the biggest kerfuffle probably in board history when it was enacted. Yet you forgot? Not believable.
Ahahaha. You think the ‘no meanie swearing at people in the pit’ mess is the biggest in board history? It’s not even close.
And yes, I did forget. People do that sometimes.
It spawned no less than two spinoff boards; what was the bigger mess?
Well, maybe… to obscure meaning, which strikes me as a poor use of language.
It’s not about you, you narcissistic trolling freak.
Carol has this psychotic hard-on for the Pit rules. They’re the second obsession it has, the first being liberals. It’s fascinating and a little disturbing to watch.
Well, for one thing, there’s Melingate, in which a moderator was banned. Whole lotta shitfits over that.
Rolleyes: the last refuge of those with nothing to say. That you cannot find enough of them is no surprise.
