A piece of shit.
Keith Olbermann’s scathing criticism of Obama’s secrecy/immunity claims
OK I 've showed you mine, now you show me yours. Or to make it easier for you to understand, find me anything similar coming out of the mouths of Hannity or Billo that remotely approaches such level of criticism regarding Bush and his cabal of merry men.
'nuff said.
I misread that as, “Barack Obama’s puppy racist?”
Which is an even better faux-Fox headline.
I will not concede that in any way. Limbaugh is truly stupid if he thinks that the current trend of the Republican Party will sweep them anywhere but the dustbin.
Well, I hear that its a Yurpeen dog, some kind of Portugeese water on the brain dog, wouldn’t have an American dog like a rottweiller or a collie, no sir! Gotta have them a Yurpeen dog! Says it all, so far as I’m concerned…
He is the left’s Limbaugh: a predictable, one-sided, boorish voice contributing a perspective appealing only to those already inclined to see one’s own side as virtually always right and the other side virtually always wrong. There is no real debate possible or encouraged with either.
No. The latter would also need to be a self-serving, hypocritical blowhard, if those are your points of comparison.
I’m not sure Olbermann is a hypocrite, though. Only that he’s overbearing and idiotically one-sided, like many on both sides of said spectrum.
I agree, for the most part. I see Hannity as the radio equivalent of those “The Farmer Says” toys, the one where you point the arrow to a particular animal and pull the string. Once you pull it, you know exactly what sound is going to erupt. Hannity might as well be pre-recorded, with canned responses to anyone calling in, on any given topic.
Even though I’m a partisan, I can acknowledge the intelligence of those on the other side. Newt Gingrich, Condi Rice and Antonin Scalia are good examples of smart folks on the right side of the spectrum.
Rush Limbaugh? It wouldn’t surprise me if his IQ was less than 110. Who on earth, besides Starving Artist, thinks that fool possesses above-average intelligence?
Wow, watching the Rightards self-destruct sure is fun.
Graphite rods are for pussies!
-Joe
He strikes me as pretty intelligent. A boorish megalomaniac, but intelligent nonetheless.
Big Olbermann fan, are you?
You keep saying that as if sheer repetition will make it true. Well, just in case you missed it the first time, it doesn’t.
Not necessarily. They can both be self-serving hypocritical blowhards despite being on opposite ends of a political spectrum.
And Limbaugh disagreeing with Bush on immigration policy changed your perspective on him as well, right? A veritable monument to open-mindedness, I’m sure you concluded.
I think his point was to say that then is not right at all to say that:
“I’m not sure Olbermann is a hypocrite, though. Only that he’s overbearing and idiotically one-sided, like many on both sides of said spectrum.”
He is not one sided, as Rush shows from time to time, but that does not mean that Rush was still wrong in his position on immigration policy.
Overall, since I can count with my fingers the few commentators that are in mainstream TV, that are completely unapologetic about being in the left, I will have to defend his right to have his say so as a weak counterbalance to the rivers of diarrhea coming from the right:
Michelle Backman and Virginia Foxx deserved Olberman’s tirades and more IMHO.
But Keith’s better looking. How about that? He also never compared a 12 year old girl to a dog.
(I had to stop watching Keith myself. I used to love him, but he’s gotten too rabid for me. But I still think he’s hysterical when it comes to Bill O’Reilly, if only because O’Reilly’s too damned chicken to answer him. And Keith’s sexier. Yeah, he’s an asshole. I’d still do him, though.)
Thanks, I noticed your name and figured someone needed to say something awful about Alabama.
For a bunch of “smart” folks, you sure are easily trolled.
