Have you ever considered that people become violent after the fact? Sometimes you enter a relationship in good faith, on the same page and agree to mutuality in all respects. Then things change and one of you can end up in hell while your partner endangers your children. Instead of blaming the victim, tis better to get the hell out of dodge and let the abuser deal with their own problems. You protect your babies.
