Kerry/Edwards button/sign

Does anybody have any ideas for the easiest way for me to get a Kerry/Edwards button and a lawn sign before Halloween (need it for a costume). I donated and got a bumper sticker from their site some time back, but that’s not helping me, and I can’t seem to find them for sale anywhere, not even (surprisingly) my friendly neighborhood gay & lesbian bookstore.

I don’t mind paying, I just need it in time.

Thanks!

There’s definitely a Democratic National Committee office near you- go to Democrats.org and look it up. They’ll have a lot of the stuff but it’s also pretty grassroots, so you might have to donate like $25 to get any of it.

Find the nearest campaign headquarters and walk in?

One web page here

This was going by the location under your name. If you aren’t in San Diego, google kerry edwards campaign headquarters for your area.

What’s the costume plan?

Oh, I swiped it from someone on here: Bush Victory Suicide. Photoshop’d newspaper announcing Bush victory, bandanged slit wrists, noose, etc. I thought a button might be a nice touch. Sign really is for my lawn  .

Thanks for the inputand efforts on my lame behalf, everyone. I had gone to the DNC website, but didn’t see any way to get any swag, so I figured the campaign headquarters here might not have it either.

What, you’re too good to swipe one off someone’s lawn?

That’s a great idea!!!
No, wait…

:stuck_out_tongue:

johnkerry.com has a section for purchasing lawn signs, buttons, etc. The signs were $5.00. I can’t tell you how long it would take to get them but I would hope that with the election just weeks away they’d send the stuff out pretty quick.

Thanks, Wile E., that’s just what I was looking for! And such an assortment!

Shipping’s 7 bucks, though  .
Honestly, it’s worth it to not have to schlep to Claremont Mesa…

Yay! I was finally helpful.

Did it say how long it will take to get the goods?

Aw, I’m sure you’re helpful lots of times, Wile E. .

I think it’s 7 - 10 business days, which is fine for my purposes. It’s a lot less time elsewhere in the country - they actually have a map that comes up and tells you how long it might take depending on where you live!
