To increase my amusement this election year, I’ve decided to consider the election as a sitcom, and the candidates as familiar TV characters.
Can you help me draw the appropriate mental pictures?
I tend to think of Bush/Cheney as Snidely Whiplash/Mumbly from the wacky races. I got that right didn’t I? Am never sure about the dog’s name.

Kerry/Edwards could be those two cops from Sanford and Son, Hoppy and Swannie.
Kerry/Edwards… I’m not perfectly sure, but I’m leaning toward Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street.
Bush/Cheney = Pinky and the Brain.
