I’d love to catch her show and I’m surprised and disappointed that Dopers aren’t being more open minded. Ke$ha doesn’t take herself seriously, she makes catchy music with humorous lyrics and her performances are full of energy. Her Get $leazy tour is getting really good reviews (The New York Times published praised her show) and if you give her albums a listen you’ll see that the “Tik Tok” video doesn’t really present Ke$ha’s stage persona accurately. I think the video for “Blow” does a much better job. Kesha’s not the type to wake up hungover in a bathtub; she’s more the type that would lick a unicorn’s face.
I’m a married man and a father in my late thirties and I really enjoy her music.
