Kimberly Update

Yah! Congrats, here’s hoping you’re whining about Kim’s refusal to sleep through the night soon!

Congratulations to you and your family, it seems your wee one is a real little fighter!!! I hope you are all together for your special day.

Jeffery,

That’s fantastic! I am sure you will be having the BEST Father’s day of anyone here. I told you that Miracle Grow would work wonders. Seriously, I was just wondering how Kimberly was doing last week and I am elated to learn that she’ll be coming home Sunday. I couldn’t be happier if I was a dog with seven tails. Congratulations!

Dave

Okay. The day finally arrived. Kimberly got to come home from the hospital on Saturday in the late evening.

She is still on oxygen (not very much though) and she is on an Apnea monitor and an oxygen saturation monitor. She will be on these until the doctors feel she does not need them any more (probably around 5 or 6 lbs).

She is doing well. She is eating well. She is sleeping well (except of course for having to eat during the middle of the night). Though she only eats every 4 hours so it is really only once during the night.

My 3yr old Emily is very happy. My wife is still a bit nervous, but also very happy. I am very happy.

I am glad to finally have my 3 favorite girls in the world home, so that I can see them and cuddle them and love them every day.

Thanks again for everything.

Jeffery

That is just the most awesome, incredible, wonderful news I’ve heard in a long, long time, Jeffrey. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Wow. I’m away from my computer for a few days, and look at the fantastic news I come back to! As I was reading this thread I was in tears.

I am so thrilled for you and your family! I’ll keep praying that Kimberly continues to grow stronger and healthier.
Oh, and HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!
