Pictures of Kimberly that I promised

Okay the first topic may not have conveyed that I had posted pictures of Kimberly, so here goes with another topic with a better title.

Finally, I have figured out enough of the software provided on GeoCities to post a few pictures of my daughters.

For those who remember my daughter Kimberly and the “fun” we have had over the last 5 months, you can now see what this miracle of God looks like (the pictures without the oxygen tubes were taken a couple of weeks ago.)

Quick update, Kimberly is 5 months old as of Saturday 8/26/00. As of Tuesday she weighs 7lbs 2 oz and is 19 inches long. She has been off oxygen for about 2 weeks.

She is doing great. Thanks for all the prayers and kind words.

Now, for the pictures I have been meaning to get posted for the last 5 months.

That pic of Kimberly asleep looks soooo cute! This reminds me that I’m supposed to post pics of my niece. I’ll get around to it one of these days . . .

What a beautiful baby… Takes lots of pictures. She’ll be 18 tomorrow…

Aw, gosh, she’s beautiful. Congratulations on beating the odds! She’s already proven she’s a tenacious fighter. Bet you can’t wait for those teenage years!

What a darling! Your girls are both heartbreakers.

Thanks for the pics, Jeffrey, and congrats to your family.

Yay, pictures!

So good to hear she’s doing well, StrTrkr777.

What beautiful girls! Dangit, Jeffery, you’ve given me a serious case of baby lust. Now that the worst is over, I hope you and your wife are breathing a well-deserved sigh of relief.

Oh, and did I mention I’ve got a five year old boy? Maybe in another 20 - 25 years, we can join the StrTkr and Tot clans…

I’ve been pullin’ for Kim since the beginning, and she is a stunning little person. May she shock you with her impudence and amaze you with her percociousness every day from here on out.

Thanks everyone. I believe that they are indeed beautiful. They are my girls after all.

My wife has said that she always thought our first was going to be the strong willed one, till she met Kim. Now, Emily is indeed strong willed and definitely has a mind of her own, but Kim has fought so hard for life these last five months, that I believe there is no fight that she will not be able to manage.

Again, I appreciate everyone’s kind wishes and words and prayers. It is strange to have so manny friends that one has never met, but still feel so close to. We have all shared our ups and downs and asked for prayer and kind thoughts and advice and encouragement. I love my IRL friends but you guys are a great bunch, caring without having ever spoken or seen each other IRL.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Hmm Tater, Let’s see. A TrkrTot, or TaterTrkr, or StrTot, or StrTater. It could work.

Not to keep, mind you. Just to play with and spoil, then give back to Mom & Dad.
Does she have enough grampas?
Peace,
mangeorge

What beautiful children-

May they grow straight and tall and healthy and strong.

And may God Bless all of you!

Those are two very adorable little girls you have. I’m glad to hear little Kimberly is allright, she definatley looks like a fighter.

Hey Jeffery, something that’s grabbed me before on this board - I remember when Kim was born and (all of) y’alls’ subsequent travails. I haven’t been very vocal in the interim, but the reminder makes me think of my own nieces and relate them accordingly.

I am sincerely enthused by news of the burgeoning family life of the StrTrkr household. Kudos to Dad and Mom and Big Sis and Kim. Good luck to all of y’all; and, thanks for the pictures, pop!

Mangeorge, can any child have enough grandpas? She has the standard 2 plus she has a couple more (my father and my wife’s step-father as well as my wife’s adopted father and her bio father), so hey having a few more is not a problem.

You may spoil her, I will let you know where to send the checks and toys.

Just Gorgeous, what more can I say?

Jeffery–they are precious! You’ve definitely got a fighter on your hands with Kimberly! I wish your family nothing but good wishes from here on out! You deserve them!

Oh Jeffrey, you’re screwed!

With good-looking girls like that, you had better buy a shotgun. You’ll need it to scare off all the boys!

I’m happy Kim is doing well, give her a smooch from ToddlerNym. (and darn it…baby lust has hit again!)

I may go with the shotgun, but for now I am planning to just give the boys a tour of my sword room.

I shall also require them to read the rules for dating my daughter.

Jeffery

What beautiful kids you have!! Kimberly looks like she’s doing really well. Take lots of pictures and videos of her because she’ll grow so quickly that you’ll start to have a hard time remembering all those days spent in the hospital!

I’ve been in your shoes before (as far as having a baby early and in the hospital) but my ordeal didn’t last nearly as long as your family’s has. My daughter was in the NICU for only 17 days but the first few days were very stressful then she started getting better, day by day. I’m so glad it’s over for you and that Kimberly is home. Take care and I’ll keep you all in my thoughts & prayers!
