I looked at the FAQ on Amazon.com, and could not readily find out what this means:
Next to my name at the upper left corner of the display, there is a number in a circle. It was 2 yesterday, but it was 3 this morning. What does this number refer to?
Notices. Stuff like “download completed” and “USB connected.”
