Dammit, Shayna! You almost had me on that one! Unfortunately my current life wouldn’t be fair to a pet. (Up at 3:51, out by 4:40, not home until 7:30 PM or later, grab a bite, go to bed by 9:00.) Kudos to ems for giving Libby a home!
Has Emma worn out the fishing pole yet?
Thank you, Asimovian. We’re hanging in there as best we can. We’re actually on the way out to go spend the day with my cousin. She just sent Lindsay back to college yesterday, so the house is feeling even more empty now, and we want to keep her company to help ease the loneliness a little bit.
And Emma’s fishing pole is still alive and well-loved. She misses her Uncle Johnny, who gave it to her, though (hint, hint).
I’m sorry to hear about your family’s plight recently, but at least the kitteny portion has been wonderfully solved.
Shayna Libby is settling in well - loves the new house and spent most of yesterday afternoon when we got home on the back of the couch watching the world go by out of the window.
