Kitty pics!

And guinea pig pics, if you’re into that sort of thing. Hubby gave me my Yule present early, and it’s a camera!

Wheeee!

Kitty’s name is Luna. Piggy’s name is Guinea. I tried to get a picture of the two of them together but, well, they don’t play well together. Or I should say Luna doesn’t play well with Guinea, being under the mistaken impression that Guinea is another kitten.

Yay! I finally get to play in the kitty threads!

Nice pets! Congrats on the new camera.

I love that kitty! What a sweet little face!

(I’m not a guinea pig lover, but I’m sure he’s very nice.)

Sweet? She’s a hoodlum! When my son and his friend were here weekend before last, she decided she didn’t want them on her couch. So she stalked them and pounced at them, hissing and spitting, until they took off running, then she chased them out of the room, growling in fury.

I’d have given anything for a camcorder. Two strapping teenagers being pursued by a puffed-up hissing little kitten intent on Destruction and Dismemberment, you can’t buy that kind of entertainment anywhere.

The guinea pig just licks your chin and tries her best to knock you out with her Hay Breath when you pick her up.

That sounds funny, Marlitharn.

Oh, and Kitty!

Two kitties!

no, no, no. [ul=Disney.com | The official home for all things Disney]Kitty!

Actually, Marlitham, your kitty is very adorable

Damn coding gerbils: [Kitty!](no, no, no. [ul=http://www.bubbleshare.com/myalbum/63278.728ab222df6/overview)

Awww, cute kitties! Even when they’re revealing the Evil Within (like ETF’s cat), they’re still cute!

that is one looooong freakin tail, there.

That link goes to the slideshow. I assume you meant this one?

yeah, baby, wow. That’s still a kitten who hasn’t grown into its tail yet, right?

Hey, Marlithorn, your Luna looks a lot like my Sally.

Thing is, as a year-plus-old cat she’s tiny, I mean, really tiny, and the tail is long enough still for a large industrial-strength cat.

Check her out here, the middle of the three in a photo taken a few months ago. The right-hand cat, Sylvia, is normal size. Ed on the left really is as oversize as he looks. Compare the paws!

Watchcats on duty! Guarding against intruders. At least until they hear the can opener.

Cute picture.

My brother has kindly hosted some pictures so I can show off our kitties, too.

This is Simon on the left and Zippo on the right.

Here’s another of them on a different sofa that shows off Simon’s coloring better.

Phoebe, our tortoiseshell, sleeping on her favorite pillow.

This is our baby, Maggie, shortly after we brought her home a few months ago.

We should have called her Yoko, because she likes to get in a bag.

Here she is in the bathtub. She sits underneath the tap and waits for drops to form, then tries to catch them on the way down. Here, the water has been dripping on her head. She’s just given her head a shake, and if you look at the photo at 100%, you can see drops of water suspended in the air, in the lower left.

Marlitharn… Cheeseincrust, your guinea pig looks bigger than the cat in those pictures. Does it bully your cat around? Can it steal that couch it won from the kids back from the cat?

Aha! That’s what Smokey (my kitty - see above) is! I’ve been calling her a tabby for 7 years. She doesn’t have as much brown in her fur as Phoebe, but the markings are very similar

Ooooooo, fishbicycle, an orange tabby! I loves me orange tabbies! And yours is a classic marble tabby, how cool is that? All of mine are mackeral tabbies.

The guinea pig is a total Pacifist, and wants nothing more out of life than to sit on someone’s chest and chirp. The most she might do is try to burrow under the cat on the couch, but only because she likes to hide. Her theory is, if she can’t see you then you can’t see her.

There’s more pics in my link now, I’m still trying to figure Flickr out; the other cats belong to my mom. The children are mine, or at least they’re the ones the hospital gave me to take home.

Everybody’s got cute kitties!
