Does anyone have any info on this band? They were Canadian and semi-popular in the mid-late 70’s, riding the rumour that they were the re-united Beatles. After an album or two, it’s like they disappeared off the face of the earth. Anyone got anything?

Thanks! That’s just the kind of thing I was looking for!! (Now why did my search of “Klaatu” result in no matches?)

Does anybody know what Klaatu Non Barata (or similar) means in plain english?

Klaatu Barada Nikto means: Klaatu, take the girl to the ship and keep her safe.
That’s what I always figured from watching ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’ anyways.
No, wait, the robot’s name was Gort. Hmmm. Okay, the official word is: I’m not sure.

Glad to hear they have released the CD’s. I will put them on the list along with Rare Bird and other classics from the past.

Well at least now I know that it’s Klaatu Barada Nikto and not something else.
