Konica language change

Yesterday we bought a Konica KD-400Z digital camera. This morning, my wife started it, selected the language… and missed. She accidentally put in Japanese - the only choice that we both can’t read. :frowning:

In the very concise booklet that comes with it, it says nothing about changing the language. Off/On does not help, as it automatically loads Japanese.

We were planing using the camera today on a visit - and the shops ae closed.

Anybody get any bright ideas how to change the language back?

OK, try this.

[ul]
[li]Turn on camera and press the MENU/SET button.[/li][li]Select the second to last option, which is SETUP.[/li][li]The 11th item (4th from bottom) is LANGUAGE. Select it.[/li][li]You should see the list of languages now, so select the appropriate one. English is the second one, though I’m pretty sure it’s labeled in English.[/li][/ul]

If that doesn’t work, read the manual more carefully and try again. The interface is exactly the same in all languages, so the 2nd item in a given name is, for example, the 2nd item in any language.

I meant “2nd item in a given menu is…”.

Thanks scr4 (I would have posted earlier, but the hamsters were difficult again)!
