Come on, there are only two good drinks for summer; ice tea and Kool Aide and I’m addicted to both.
Has anyone come up with a drinkable combination?
Quick, before I use up the entire water supply for the county.
I hear half iced tea and half lemonade is a good combo.
Go check out your local kool-aide supplier. They now make fruit tea flavored koolaid. You might need to add your own caffiene!
I’ve had the Kool-aid + iced tea mix (Kool Aid Teasers? I can’t remember the name for sure.) I bought a couple thinking I had bought regular Kool-aid Lemonade. It wasn’t bad after I got over the initial shock of wondering why my kool-aid tasted like tea.

I want to preface this with the fact that I tried the mix before knowing what it was (I doubt I would have done so had I known). I’m now convinced it is the perfect Yuletide concoction.
Russian Tea
1 3/4 c Tang (orange drink mix)
1 pk (1/2 oz) lemonade (I use CountryTime)
1 c Instant tea
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground cloves
Mix ingredients.
2 teaspoons in hot water and you’re set.
I’ve always been partial to Gin & Tonic for a nice summer drink. mmmmm
I am reliably informed that this summer’s fashionable drink among the middle school set is “Sewer Water” Kool-Aid.
Equal parts Blastin’ Berry Cherry and Lemon-Lime. It actually tastes OK if you drink it with your eyes closed.
I have never been happy with any mix of iced tea and fruit stuff I have ever made. This is real disappointing to a Snapple fan. How do they do it so it tastes good? I’m thinking I don’t put in enough sugar.
That Lipton’s 5-minute tea is great, but you have to let it soak overnight to leach out enough caffeine. I didn’t know it was so tightly bound to whatever it’s bound to.

Okay, the Kool-Aid T’s suck! BUT if you use ONE Kool-Aid T and one NORMAL Kool-Aid, it’s damn good.

My favorite summertime drink is half cranberry juice (or any of the cranberry-mixed cocktail juices) with half Club Soda, Perrier, or Pellegrino Mineral Water–as long as it’s fizzy. I will drink that all summer long.
Does Kool Aid have any flavor? That tea one doesn’t have any tea flavor. They do put in citric acid for tartness.
