Iced tea and Lemonade, my contribution to the culinary world.

Most self serve Coke machines have a tap for Minute Maid lemonade.

Dispense 2 to 3 inches lemonade into bottom of the cup.

Finish Filling cup with unsweetened tea.

Stir well

It’s better then adding a wedge of lemon to your tea. The lemon at self serve sometimes gets handled by many unwashed hands.

So, an Arnold Palmer?

I had never heard of a Arnold Palmer.

But, yes same idea Except the AP isn’t stirred.

Beaten to the punch by a golfer.

It is even better with a shot of tequila.

I was surprised at how good tea & lemonade are.

It would be even better with fresh squeezed lemonade offered at the nicer clubs.

I believe that would be a “John Daly.”

One of the more popular flavors by Arizona. Snapple also has a Half & Half.

“That is vodka and I mixed it with orange juice. I call it an orange-vod-juice-ka.”
“Wow that is delicious. I can’t believe no one’s thought of that before.”

I thought we called it a Tiger Woods around here.

I was first introduced to iced tea with lemonade back in 1993, which appears to predate references to any connection with Arnold Palmer by a decade or so.

I’ve been drinking it ever since, though 4-5 ounces of lemonade per half-gallon pitcher of sweet tea is my preferred concentration.

That’s when you drink an Arnold Palmer while banging the waitress who brought it to you.

But that’s just a variation on the “mixing two things” idea, which acey thought of first.

That got a hearty laugh out of me.

I got taken to task for saying that a Roy Rogers and a Shirley Temple were the same thing.

According to this it started in the 60’s.

I wonder if carbonated tea would be good?

People with a Soda Stream could try it.

Budding Products: New Carbonated Teas

Haven’t had an Arnold Palmer in a while but I have taken to topping off my diet Coke with a pour of lemonade.

I made this drink once where I put chocolate syrup into a glass of cold milk, and it made the milk taste like chocolate. What should I call it?

I didn’t know Sparkling meant carbonated. I’ve seen sparkling tea at stores and didn’t buy any.
