I keep seeing threads like this on the message boards I frequent - I swear, is some conservative group paying people to start threads like this or something? It always seems to be a new member. It all seems a little too coincidental.

You know, nice guy, the people here are actual people, not the cartoonish image of ‘liberals’ you seem to have in your head, Well, except for me, of course; I’m a cartoon horse. But it seems actual people make of the rest of the board membership.
Seriously, though; you seem to be so locked up with hatred of…something…that you can’t even adequately articulate what it is that has you so very pissed off. What I would like to gently point out, however, is that political content makes up only a small fraction of the total content of this board, and that your obsession with expressing your apparent rage over it (and you are not alone in this) sells both you and The Straight Dope short.
Hey, if you really feel you are accomplishing something useful here by posting essentially nothing but seething hostility, knock yourself out. I suspect at this point, however, most people who read your posts are giving them the same consideration they would to that disheveled guy ranting on a street corner.
So wait, some emails were lost before this guy took the job and he did something wrong? Its like blaming Shinseki for the what’s going on at the Va when things improved under Shinseki.
Is there a button here we can press that will set it up so that we get an email when someone actually explains what the thread is supposed to be about?
