I’ve been looking all over for KKK pictures and rank information. I really need this for tonight (English project due tomorrow). I’ve already looked at the KKK’s major sites (americanknights.com etc) but they weren’t able to produce what I was looking for.
By ranks, I’m looking for the stuff I’ve read about. Grand Goblin, Imperial Wizard, and such. (Is it just me or does it sound like someone has played one too many fantasy games?)
Any help appreciated.
“Klanwatch”, a book by Morris Dees, describes ranks and offices. I don’t know if he has a website (who doesn’t anymore?) or if it describes the info you all want.
With all the Klannish and Klanoid splinter groups, I am not sure if they hold to any fixed structure, or if most pea-brained Klansmen could even remember or explain it coherently.
Reading the other link, the ranks and names are very different from what Dees describes as the more current organization of the Klan. Apparently, each rank has its own accent color.
I’m sure the SDMB is the last best hope for an informed humanity, but it is probably never a good idea to wait until the night before an assignment is due to begin researches.
