Laconia Bike Week

I’m headed up to Weirs Beach over the upcoming weekend, really looking forward to it. I’ve been turning alot of miles this year, but mostly commuting 25 miles each way to work. It’ll be nice to tear up routes 107, 3, 16 and 25 and really tune into the miles. Maybe a run up the Mount Washington Auto road too.

Nights will be spent at the Nasbar, Broken Spoke Saloon, The Loony Bin and Tower Hill Saloon. Maybe the beer/music tent at the Weirs Beach Drive Inn. My 3 riding buddies for this trip are ready for some fun.

And looking at bikes. Oh boy, if you love baggers with fresh paint and alot of chrome like I do, it’s a great place to spend some time.

Haven’t done Laconia in ages. My favorite part was always stopping by Poor Boys in Londonderry. Best food in the entire state to me.

Never been there. Thanks for the tip!

This is the weekend/week that all us hikers stay home or head elsewhere to avoid the traffic and noise.

Thanks for clearing the roads of all the cars for us

On the other hand, it’s not nearly as bad as the NASCAR race weekend.

That is correct Telemark, thanks for the glass half full. You can’t budge from 106 all the way to 93 that weekend. At least the bikes keep moving!

Did you get up this way for Americade in Lake George this year? It just ended. 55,000 bikes!! There are some gorgeous rides up the West side of Lake George. Also, up to Old Forge and Blue Mountain Lake.

Nope, never been to Americade, Daytona or Sturgis. All are on my bucket list.

Always wanted go to Rendezvous too (I’m told it’s batshit crazy, like biker rallys of the old days) but I don’t ride a Harley and don’t want to get beat outta the place
