Since we’re doing these topics again, let’s re-address the ancient question of the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder. Women (and others who prefer to dress in that manner):
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra? (Not at all, to get the mail, in your yard, etc.)
What size do you wear?
What standard of dress do you normally hold to? (Always try to dress your best no matter what, sometimes will wear sweats to the grocery store, live in Hawaiian shirts and cargo shorts, always wear a suit to yoga class, etc.)
For me:
Into the yard with the dogs or grab mail, usually while praying that none of the neighbors will see me and want to chat.
44DDD
On the casual end of the scale; I mostly wear sweatpants and a nice-but-casual shirt at home, and jeans with a nice shirt out for day to day life.

In the summer, I’m usually wearing an extra large tank top (sans bra) and shorts (or men’s boxers!) around the yard and I have occasionally talked to the neighbors dressed like that. In the winter I’ll throw on a hoodie (I live in the warm south) and go to the convenience store. When I was young I wasn’t as shy.
What size do you wear? 40DD - 50 years old and very saggy

Shorts or jeans and tees and flip flops everywhere. I’ll throw on a bra to go run an errand, and take it off as soon as I get home.
In the summer, I pretty much always wear a bra when leaving the house. I don’t wear one around the house, but since I live with five other people unrelated to me, maybe that counts as ‘out in public’. In sweater weather, I’ll do just about anything without a bra. Grocery shopping, going to grab fast food, etc. If I’m wearing a very bulky sweater I’ll even go to school bra-less. I wouldn’t teach without a bra on, or have an important meeting or anything like that, though.
I pretty much only wear bras because you can tell if I’m not wearing one, and that isn’t socially acceptable.
I’m a 36D, and have in the last few years moved from the “casual is pyjama pants, dressing up is jeans” paradigm to “casual is jeans, dressing up is slacks and a collared shirt” paradigm. If I could live in yoga pants and tank tops, I would.
ETA: I just went out to lunch without a bra today.
I try to always look my best. Every once in a while I’ll leave the house without makeup, but I don’t wear sweats or pajama pants or shorts or anything like that in public.
If I’m dressed (i.e., not in pajamas or unclothed), then I’m wearing a bra.
B-cup.
I was very much a T-shirt-and-jeans/sneakers type in college and for a number of years after. Since then I’ve developed into wearing pants or very nice (dark wash, long, clean and neat) jeans when out and around, with shirts that are more of a tailored look, or nice non-bulky sweaters. I wear similar though a tad more dressy for work, basically business casual. Leather-type shoes, typically heels at work or flats outside of it. I would not be comfortable in the least being out without wearing a bra.
It’s 2:09pm and I’m sitting here at the office dying to take this damn bra off! God, I can’t wait til I get home. I’m a 40C, and might be able to get away with taking it off and stuffing it into my purse, but I won’t.
**Ladies: bras in public? ** Almost always unless I’m wearing something heavy like a sweatshirt. I had a reduction that took me from a 38DDD and now I’m a perky 40C, but after more than 20 years absolutely having to wear a bra I feel kinda exposed not wearing one.
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra? Not at all, to get the mail, in your yard, etc.) I will go to the store if I’m feeling lazy and, as mentioned, wearing something heavy. Otherwise I’m not sure you can tell I’m not wearing one, but I’d be self-conscious.
What standard of dress do you normally hold to? Jeans, shirt, shoes. Nothing fancy.
The only time I will go without is when I’m walking the dog, and then I’m usually wearing a jacket.
I’ll be the outlier in the thread…cup size AA. That’s about half a tit.
I maintain a pretty decent standard of dress. Grocery store runs are jeans and a good T-shirt. At work, I always wear nice pants or dresses with pantyhose and heels. Come to think of it, I have one work outfit I wear with no bra: It’s a tank top with built-in support and a lacy blouse over it.
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra?
I’ll nip down to the gas station without a bra but only if I’ve got a sweatshirt or jacket on. I’ll be in my house around most family members with no bra, and I’ll go out in the yard with no bra.
What size do you wear?
I’m a 40C
What standard of dress do you normally hold to?
Normally I look just presentable if I’m going anywhere past the gas station. Like t-shirt and jeans to go to the grocery store or to meet up with friends. I’ll doll it up for dates and “occasions”. Otherwise, I look like shit. But I love the gas station - they don’t judge you there

I require a large caliber handgun to be pointed at my head in a threatening manner to force me to put a tit hammock on.
What size do you wear?
38B
What standard of dress do you normally hold to?
Jeans and sweaters in winter, jeans and long sleeve t-shirts in spring and fall, tank tops (with those built in shelves that are almost like a bra!) and skirts or shorts in summer.
I’m fifty, and I have nothing to prove. You don’t like the fact that I’m a mammal, don’t look!
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra? (Not at all, to get the mail, in your yard, etc.)
To get the mail, or do laundry (we live in a 1st floor apt, laundry is in the basement)
What size do you wear?
32D
What standard of dress do you normally hold to?
Jeans most of the time, clean & showered but casual for running errands. Sweatpants are for working out only, and I won’t leave the house in pajamas.
34b & I might go to the mailbox without, but that’s about it.
I mostly wear shorts and t-shirts yearround, and jeans and t-shirts when it drops into the 80s.

I might go in the backyard with the dog first thing in the morning when no one can really see me, but other than that I always wear a bra when I go out into public. I will generally wear one around the house- I hate the “hangy boob” feeling.

I generally try to look decent when I leave the house to go to work/run errands/hang out with friends etc- hair looks ok/styled, makeup, jeans and t-shirts for work/everyday.
If I’m doing something like going for a bike ride I’ll wear a cycling shirt/biking knickers, no makeup and who cares about my hair- it’s under a helmet.

I wouldn’t leave the house without a bra. MAYBE to go to the mailbox, if I had a coat over my shirt.

I have to dress business casual for work. Jeans/sweater/boots on the weekend. I actually don’t own any sweatpants, but I would wear them to the grocery store/to get gas (I don’t see anything wrong with sweatpants - I should get some!)
I will not leave my apartment without a bra under any circumstances. 32A. I dress nicely–I usually wear a skirt and tights, heels or boots or flats, sweaters, nice shirts–to go to class and run errands. Even if I’m not going anywhere that day, I’ll shower and put on jeans and a T-shirt. With a bra.
I think the only time I’ve gone out without a bra in the past eight years is wearing a tank with a built-in bra.
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra?
I’m willing to go as far as a short trip to the corner store, as long as I’m wearing a jacket or a heavy sweatshirt. But I have to be having a really schlubby, can-barely-drag-on-a-pair-of-jeans kind of day.
What size do you wear?
36B.
What standard of dress do you normally hold to?
I dress up properly for work or going out, but left to my own devices I’m a tee-shirt, jeans and sneakers kind of girl.
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra? It depends on what I’m wearing. I’ll go without a bra if the clothing allows for it.
What size do you wear? 32B
What standard of dress do you normally hold to? It varies quite a bit by mood. Sometimes jeans & tank tops and sometimes dresses/skirts. I will wear dresses & skirts to everyday-type things where a lot of my friends think that is “dressing up”
How far out of the house are you willing to go sans bra?
Hmmm. Pretty far in general, though lately I’ve realized that’s wearing my bad idea jeans. Last summer, I was visiting a friend late at night for some hanky panky and, already in my pjs. So I just put on a shirt and wore an old (really old, super thin) tank top and took a cab down. I had to walk a few blocks and got lecherous looks, and then realized maybe I shouldn’t go around like that anymore. I do wear a lot of tank tops with built in bras, though. I don’t really need the support (not yet, anyway) but having everything out there may have been a bad choice.
I used to wear that kind of stuff to the gym, now I have no idea how I did it.

I usually try to look nice, unless I’m just feeling really tired or sick or something.
