Ladies: Do you ever keep your cell phone in your bosom?

Sure, if I don’t have a pocket and don’t want to carry a purse. Sometimes when I’m on the elliptical, I keep my iPod in my bra, too.

No. That’s gross.

I have a smartphone and I’m bad about running sans music, so I play music through the phone (with headphones) and keep track of my distance, time, etc. with an app on the phone. It’s also handy in emergencies if I ever were running outside of my neighborhood-- my neighbors are pretty friendly and seem like the type to step in to help if someone were injured at their doorstep.

I had one of those fake silk satin eyeglasses case on a cord that got imported from China in mass quantities about 12 or so years ago, the clamshell phone I had back then fit into it along with a few folded bills and my ID. Bah, I have a picture that I am wearing it, but my hands are folded over it so you really can’t see it.

I have a droid now, in a leather case so it really won’t fit in anything, so I normally just shove it in a pocket in my jeans or in a purse.

This thread is really turning me on.

You got a thing for cell phones? :dubious:

If they’re covered in boob sweat, yeah.

I usually only have time to run after dark. I don’t have a problem running without my phone whether it’s dark or not, but it makes my husband uncomfortable if I go out alone after dark with no way to contact him. Just typing that makes me think I’m probably too cavalier about these things. Anyway, it’s not a huge inconvenience to take it with me, but I prefer to have my hands free.

This just in! The joey bra!

For the women who do this, why not just wear clothes with a pocket? As a guy, I NEVER wear anything out that doesn’t have at least 2 pockets. I’m under the impression that many times, even dresses and stuff are designed with a hidden pocket to put stuff in.

When I do (occasionally when I’m wearing something without pockets and expecting a call) I put it under my strap, not my cups or cleavage.

Jockey shorts.

Or if you wanna be really fancy about it, hockey players and baseball catchers
have these jock straps with pouches in the front normally used for holding a protective cup…

A lot of women’s clothing doesn’t have pockets, and if it does, they’re usually more decorative than functional, especially on dress pants. They have tiny little pockets in the front, but are usually something like three inches across and maybe three inches deep.
Putting stuff in back pockets (if the garment has back pockets) ruins the “line” of the pants. In other words, it makes your butt look lumpy and weird.

And putting it in your bra…

I work in a middle school, and a lot of the girls there seem to do this, especially those who are more “developed”. Some of their moms do as well, and if the phone’s in there, so is the money. I’ve had to take cash from a mom’s bra, but I refuse to touch money that’s been held against any part of a sweaty middle-schooler’s flesh. I figure I can’t give parents my opinion of their habits, but it’s part of my job to socialize their children properly. Ick.

I do it with my iphone when running, and also when I am pushing the pram which requires 2 hands - this also leaves hands free for dealing with the toddler and baby if required. But only when I have the headphones in - if I am just using it as a phone it goes in a bag.

Running in clothes with no pockets. I sweat so badly on it, it died. Had to give it a rice nap for a couple of days.

I use an app that maps my run, calls out my audio cues to walk/run, logs my pace, distance and time, and keeps a history. I don’t really talk on my phone all that much, but I like having it with me for safety as well. If I start having a heart attack or heat stroke, I can call 911. As a DD cup, I stick my phone around the side almost under my left arm. Plenty of room in a stretchy sports bra.

Another interesting product I just found! Underfuse iron-on pockets! You could put one on your bra!
