I’d think any woman who was attracted to uptight men would have some serious, uh, “issues.”
What’s SCA?
I like kilts (didn’t consider them a uniform) and I like Navy dress blues–on an officer. No offense, but I am too old to be seducing newly enlisted guys!
I also kinda like Georgian England style dress for men…hmmm, maybe a trip back to Williamsburg is in order…heh.

Societ for Creative Anachronism. They do lots of medieval stuff, but lots of other things, too, like learn dead languages, dress up, and lean instruments, etc. My kind of people…sort of.
New enlisted or new Officer, either way I have better things to do than train 'em. That’s why I like the “blood stripe” on Marine dress. It promises a certain minimum level of experience and competence.
There is no rational explanation for why I think the gloves are so incredibly yummy.
[QUOTE=AnaamikaBut those look like fatigues to me.
I think BDU’s means Battle Dress Uniform. Please, anyone correct me if I’m wrong[/QUOTE]
Yes, that’s what BDU means. And those are pictures of BDUs in your links. “Fatigues” is just an outdated term for the Class C (utility or field uniform) that soldiers wear. No one uses the term ‘fatigues’ anymore. And, actually, the Army is phasing out BDUs for ACUs - Advanced Combay Uniform. The ACU replaces the BDU and the DCU (desert combat uniform).
Here’s some pictures of a soldier in just BDUs
Here’s one wearing full armor.

Here’s Class As with the All Weather Coat.
And Finally Class Bs.

- Cops
- Cop—I mean, the UPS guy.
I married the UPS guy (he’s a personal trainer now). I’ve never dated a cop, but find the uniform, and all the darkly, starkly, symbolic accessories quite devastating.
-
Business uniform (sharp suit, nice shirt and tie, good shoes).
-
I’m certainly open to a handsome laddie or three in a fair kilt.
-
Military dress uniforms, very nice.
-
RCMP dress uniforms. Can’t forget those…
So, the answer is yes.
