Don’t get me wrong… I don’t want you yanking all the hair out of my head, but I do enjoy hair pulling occasionally during sex. Ditto on spanking. I’ll fifth (sixth? seventh? whatever) this, and add to it. You know how on occasion, when kissing, the guy slides his hand up the nape of your neck til his hand is sort of cradling your head and his fingers are in your hair? Now, close fingers, pull gently but firmly back. Nibble on neck… etc.

You can even steer me to the bed this way.

In my experience, there is definitely a cultural aspect to whether women enjoy hair-pulling. Women of Latin origin that I’ve encountered seem most likely to request having their hair pulled.

I just asked a friend of mine at work who is a total male slut about his observations regarding culture and hair pulling. Here is his hierarchy from those who most prefer hair-pulling down to those who least enjoy it:

1. Latinas (very common)
2. European Americans (less common)
3. Asians (improbable)
4. African Americans (Don’t fuck with the hair!)
