Ladies, I would appreciate your opinion, please.

You’re cute.

You know what? I’d talk about your dog in the personal part. You mentioned having one (as in, you walk it in the park) but you don’t say more about it.

I once made the decision to answer an ad (versus not) because the guy mentioned he had dogs. I thought, hmm, dogs, I like dogs, this is good, and he can’t be TOO much of a freak if he has dogs, right? And while I didn’t marry the guy, he’s a good friend and we’re STILL in touch even though we’re both married to others and have kids.

The only advice I can pass on are comments from my sister, who has been running online singles ads for several years now.

She tells me that there are WAY more men searching than women. She gets 50-100 replies a week to her ads (btw - just estimating the number of replies by her comments). She says that most of the guys do not realize the number of responses that women recieve, and therefore have to sort through. Guys who send her one liners go straight to the trash. When you’re sorting through that many replies, it’s too much work to respond to every guy who sends a copy of his ad and a “Well?”, simply due to the sheer number of men who do this.

I honestly think that you’re best bet is to look for profiles of women that you think you might like, and think of something really attention catching to say to them. Think of it like a job interview or something. If you don’t catch their interest right away, they will probably move onto the next e-mail.

Just to back this up, the majority of match making things around here offer free memberships and/or ads to women, and the men have to pay. This is because of the man to woman ratio. There just aren’t enough women to go around.

you got balls MSK, but we already knew that. good luck. i tried the personals and met too many crazies, so i stopped. then i met less crazies on my own. :::shudders:::

anyway, hope it all works out for you, the ladies seem to like it, you remind me of a bud of mine, he’s 32, i’m trying to convince him to do the same thing you are. It’ll happen man, just have faith.

all the best

You look just like Larry Fine…Spread out knuckleheads!!
