All of my girlfriends and intimate ladyfriends can do it so quick and easy. Did your mom teach you? Classes in the locker room? My pal Kris says it “comes with the set.”
Do you mean from under clothes while dressed? Because that trick I learned from the movie Flashdance. But simply unhooking it and taking it off? You learn that the first or second time you do it. Some clasps or hooks are easier than others, but it soon becomes second nature.
Boys, however, are destined to fumble when they try to remove one from a girl.
Yes, the under-clothes magic act.
You remember when you were in fifth grade or so, and they sent all the boys out for recess but kept all the girls in the classroom for a few minutes?
You probably thought it was to talk about ‘woman stuff’…
(ftr, I was one of the boys on the playground)
I learned how to take off a t-shirt underneath another shirt at summer camp. It’s pretty easy to transfer those skills to a bra–easier, since a t-shirt has to come up through the neckhole, but a bra can come out the bottom of the shirt.
Curse you for beating me to it!
An anecdote, if I may . . .
Several years back a friend of mine who’s seriously into drumming had bought himself a new djembe harness but was having trouble figuring out how it worked. I asked him to give it to me, and I had it on in about ten seconds. He was amazed. I said, “Bill, if you’d been putting on a bra every morning since you were 12, you’d be able to do this too.”
The moral: It’s not hard to figure out. When you want to take off your bra without taking off your shirt, when there’s a will, there’s a way.
You do it once in a while (I’m guessing) we do it at least once a day. So, the answer is practice.
You really needed to ask??
“Classes” as in “someone teaching you” weren’t necessary. After having had to figure out how to change full swimsuits while wearing a towel, taking my bra off without taking the shirt off first is a hitch.
They learn to do it during sleepovers in college after they taught eachother how to kiss.
Now I have to go watch some porn.
Thanks.
Porn? You mean, those aren’t documentaries?
Exactly. I wondered why it sounded so complicated. But what I wonder is why you felt you needed to practice this. Why do you need to take your bra off every day without first taking off your shirt?
I thought it was something you needed to do if you have to change in a not so secluded place. I thought those band girls were special.
No one ever taught me. It’s just one of those things where at some point in your life (actually, it was in band for me, BigT) you need to do it and you think for a minute how you can accomplish it and viola! Bra off, shirt on!
Hey, that’s how I learned too!
Eh, it just kinda happened. I thought I’d have trouble with it, but it was pretty easy.
On the other hand, I still have trouble tying things behind my back. I wear an apron at work and I have to tie it in the front, otherwise the knot will come undone.
My wife confirms it’s just practice.
My 9 year old daughter can already do that hair thing, where they finger comb out long hair and 2 seconds later it’s perfectly seperated into pony tails.
These I suspect are just womanly skills. I’ve seen guys with long hair trying to do the pony tail thing, and they’ve been really bad at it.
I can confirm this. I’m a guy with long hair and I suck at pulling it into a ponytail.
Dude, it was middle school, and we practiced kissing our teddy bears.
Perv.
Ladies, where did you learn to slip off your bras?
Huh? Do they wear more than one? I often thought so at school dances.
