Lady Gaga's Bad Romance: Which song does it sound like?

I recently heard Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” and I can’t stop thinking about what song it reminds me of. In particular the chorus:
I want your loving
And I want your revenge
You and me could write a bad romance
I want your loving
All your love is revenge
You and me could write a bad romance
Does anyone have any insight as to which song, if any, it sounds like?

It’s of course possible that it doesn’t sound like any song in particular. Some songs just have that “heard it before” feeling to them, even upon first hearing.

BTW, I did find an analogue for another part of the song: The part (at 0:53) where she says
I want your love
Love-love-love
I want your love
sounds like 0:22 of Electric Light Orchestra’s Don’t Bring Me Down, where they say
Don’t bring me down
No, no, no,
no, no

Any ideas on songs similar to the chorus?

I’m wondering, does nobody think the song sounds like something else, or can nobody think of what the other song might be?

I think I know what you mean. What seems to come to mind for me is the melody of some jingle from a TV commercial, but I can’t remember what company. Really seems like Walmart or Sears or Lowe’s or someplace like that but I can’t find it.

THE HOME DEPOT JINGLE!!! I couldn’t find the actual version (there’s actually a link on their website to an .mp3, but it’s dead), so here’s some guy playing it on the piano. To me, there’s a phrase in there that’s similar enough, this jingle pops into my head whenever I hear that chorus.

The overall feel of it (or maybe it’s just the beginning) kind of reminds me of Annie Lennox’s Walking on Glass but I don’t think that’s what you’re thinking of considering you were asking about the “You and me could write a bad romance” part and that part doesn’t sound all that like it.

There are a few pop songs that bug me because they sound so much like another song.

You Raise Me Up is uncomfortable to listen to because the chorus sounds so much like [Wind Beneath My Wings](Wind Beneath My Wings). It’s like someone is singing the latter, but they’re not singing it right and it doesn’t resolve.
Before He Cheats reminds of something during the verse, but I’m not sure what.

I"m somewhat reminded of Transvision Vamp’s I want your love - but perhaps it’s just the lyrics.

This is off topic but that’s a really cute video. It kind of reminds me of the Moscow video (one of the videos for the Eurovision contest)…with the sort of hokey 70s costumes and choreography.
