Sexy, start writing down all the events as they happen. Serious. It sounds like she’s trying to gather evidence to kick you out. Keep copies of all her emails and your replies and I’d get a copy of the police report if you can. I’d hate to see you get kicked out of a house you really like just cause Mrs. Crazy manufactured some plot.
And, yes, she does sound like a nut.
Done, and DONE! I’ve kept all records of correspondence from the very beginning. And since my lease is up in two months, I’m not too concerned about her being able to kick me out. Particularly on such unfounded “charges.”
“I smell smoke officer!”
“Well, there is no smoke lady. You’re nuts!”
Not much of a problem for me beyond irritation.
I’m looking for a new place though, and hoping to be out on May 1 rather than June 1. If anyone knows of any place good in the Boston area, please let me know!!

I don’t know, the landlady doesn’t sound clever enough to come up with that on her own. It must have been the hand’s idea. Think about it, who types those e-mails? Her hand! It’s clearly the brains of the operation.
