I was at work the other day when a cohort asked the question “I wonder how big the longest turd is?” Not really a subject I’m going to dedicate a lot of time to but thought I’d try and find something out for fun sake.
Try looking for sites on the Mutter museum in Philadelphia. I remember going there and seeing a picture of a man with megacolon (A REAL THING!). I think he evacuated his bowels once every three years or something.
Oh, they also have the actual colon on display. It’s about half the size of a new VW Beetle.

I gotta ask for a cite for this, because this strikes me as medically impossible. I can see maybe a few days to a week or so, but no more than that. It wouldn’t be the length of the colon, but rather the volume of the rectum that determines evacuation frequency, along with dietary considerations.
On my first trip ever to the city of brotherly love my first stop was the mutter museum. And while I don’t remember exactly how often the fellow shat he didn’t do so as regularly as you or I. IIRC it is in the guinness book of world records - World’s Largest Colon.
Oh, I’m not doubting the existence of the guy, just the quoted 3 year time period.

I think it was just a pic of a long turd (could be wrong). If it’s what I think it to be, it’s no worse than walking past a pile of dog crap.

The longest dump ever verified was produced by an American, who produced a ‘staggering turd’ over a period of 2 hr 12 mins which was officially measured at 12 ft 2 in. The offender is banned from 134 washrooms in his state.
Widest turd
This was excreted by a 21 stone guy, and was 4 1/2 inches for most of its 8 1/2 length. The stool has since been preserved in alcohol.

Getting one that is 18 inches or so is no real feat of skill but a dozen feet of unmolested dung could be quite the source of familial pride.
I just looked through that list extensively and there is little doubt that they are total bs.
I recall reading on alt.tasteless that there used to be an african tribe that used to select its cheiftan as the man who could express the longest uninterrupted turd.
Never saw a cite for it or anything. Forgot about it until now, AAMOF.

Q.E.D.: Its certainly possible for someone to shit no more than 6 times a year - there is at least one woman I know of who had this problem. Once every three years - its a stretch but I wouldn’t dismiss it outright.
