laser surgery and red eyes

I had laser eye surgery back in early May. No serious problems with the actual surgery, and my vision is now 20/20. 30 years of wearing glasses down the drain!

However…
Now my right eye is always red. It has that look as if I’m dead tired. I’m not tired, and I’m not suffering from allergies. My eye doctor says it’s simply a case of dry eyes. But it doesn’t feel dry, and even so, I put drops in 5 times a day. The eye doesn’t feel bad or anything, and my vision is not affected by the redness.
My doctor says that because the eye is not hurting, infected, or affecting my vision, that I should just use the drops and not worry about it. He went on to tell me how eyebALLS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE PERFECTLY WHITE, AND SO ON.
But I don’t like having this red blotch in my eye.
Anyone have an experience like this with their laser surgery, or does anyone have info regarding this I am 100% happy with LASIK.

:smack: Doh! Who taught me how to type!

That should say, other than this I am 100% happy with LASIK.
