I love the idea of planning the dates of a vacation ahead of time, and then waiting until the last minute, to see what kind of deals are available from the airlines and from hotels. I’ve heard that there are services out there that speciallize in this, but I’ve never found one.
I know about Travelocity’s Last Minute Packages, where you can book either air + hotel or air + car for the next two weekends, but the same location are always available.
So, does anyone know of a service/site, where I can say “I am looking for a vacation from Thursday to Sunday next week. Who has good deals?”
