My guess is that this might be the synopsis for tomorrow’s episode. Since the last game of the world series more or less pre-empted an episode, the tv listings in the Chicago Tribune have been off a week. The stuff you just provided didn’t sound familiar from last week’s episode.
Hmmm… I don’t really remember that description as being last week’s episode.
What I remember is Sydney discovering that, as a child, she was “engineered” to become a spy, much akin to Jessica Alba’s role in Dark Angel. What is even more devestating though is that she finds out that her father was behind all of this. And now, based on what you’ve inevitably seen and heard from the previews, she can’t trust anything he says.
vandal, I didn’t see any of the episode you just described. I remember a preview that featured a memory regression thing for Syd, but have no idea what the revelation was. So what happened to her mom; did they move her? Did Syd confront her dad about this “engineering.” Does Vaughn know? What about Sark (sp?) and his “dead” wife?
Thanks again!
Here what I know:
We found out last week that DaddySpy Jack conditioned Syd (she wasn’t “engineered” in the genetic, Dark Angel sense) as a kid and for that, Syd know longer trusts him and claims she won’t forgive him.)
SpyMomski Lena Olin had been set for trial and death for rigging a trap for Syd and Vaughn in Madagascar, when it turns out Jack did it to further breed mistrust of Mom in Syd. Although not fully spelled out, IIRC, when it turns out that Jack conditioned Syd, and then Syd figures out that he rigged the building in Madagascar, not Lena/Irina, then SpyMomski is off death row and back on Lector row, but again not clear.
So what you are quoting in your OP, AG is about tonight’s ep, where Jack tries to win back Syd after we learn that he had her conditioned and he set her up in order to get between her and her mom. As for the Red Ball, we’ll see.
