Lateral Thinking Puzzles. Let's do it again!

reply to Cheesesteak:

Are the cattle living creatures usually found on farms? Yes

Is the paint typical brush on paint you might find in a hardware store? Spray paint? Brush and a non-toxic paint, I think.

Is the color of the paint relevant? No I don’t think so. At least not specifically. You wouldn’t want to paint a white circle on a white cow, obviously. Are the circles filled in? A little.

It it a labeling system for the cattle?

Is it for genetics?

No to both

Circles that are a little filled in? Are they supposed to look like eyes?

reply to Folly:

Yes

Are the eyes on the ahem backside of the cattle?

Is it to cause confusion about which way the cattle are facing?

For the benefit of potential predators?

You got it Folly!

Hey Mommy, that weird elephant is throwing up…

Let’s try again:

Ramses II had one. King Tut did not. A horse in England likely has one, but the Queen of England does not. The Falcons might have them. The Hawks, probably not. I have one. My wife doesn’t. What is it?

Is it a physical object?

Is this a riddle or a lateral thinking puzzle?

It’s not some grammar or spelling based thing, is it?

Random guess : a brother?

Is it something to do with facial hair?
Is the horse in England this one?

Yes

Is there really a difference? It is a LTP. No …tricks of the wordplay kind.

No

If I casually met someone I didn’t know, would I be likely to be able to tell if they had this thing?
Is one gender significantly more likely than the other to have this thing?
Are the “Falcons” and “Hawks” mentioned in the riddle sports teams?
Are they the actual birds referred to by those names?

No to both

Yes

Does “the Queen of England” mean the current queen, Elizabeth II?

Does it mean all queens of England (i.e., none of them have this thing)?

Does it mean something else (for example: Queen, the band from England)?

Likewise, does “a horse in England likely has one” mean any random horse in England is likely to have this thing? Or that there is, most likely, at least one specific horse that has it?

Are horses in other countries also likely to have it?

Is the fact that King Tut died young relevant? Might he have acquired this thing if he had lived to be older?

Is it something people or animals generally acquire? Something they are born with?
