Don’t know how many of you caught the arraignment of LT, but his lawyer seems a bit “out there”. Clearly, he wants to make a name for himself, but he looked and sounded like a complete jackass.
This looks pretty bad. Based solely on what I’ve heard so far, we have a $300 payment to a pimp (who was also arrested), a runaway 16 year old girl who was picked up by one of her parents, and LT getting busted.
His lawyer claims there was no sex, which means that LT paid $300 to sit and talk to the poor girl about life. It’s all a misunderstanding! The lawyer also said something that was eye opening. In arguing for a reduced bail, he said that the majority of these felony cases are plead down to misdemeanors. WTF kind of argument is that?

Despite what I said earlier about Class E felonies, I saw ESPN reported that he could get up to four years. I don’t know if that’s because of his own record or the other circumstances surrounding this, or what.

He isn’t being charged with forcible rape. He’s being charged with a class E felony. If the DA thought he forced her against her will it would be a much higher letter. I assume that would be a Class A felony, and would carry a higher maximum penalty than 4 years. His charges are soliciting a prostitute and statutory rape.
If he beat her and forced her, I’d want to see him do more time than a lousy 4 years.
From the way it was described in the link it looks like the lack of consent came before the girl was ever brought in to him. I’m just saying there is a difference between forcibly raping an underage girl and calling for a hooker and getting an underage girl who was beaten into prostitution.
