In Terminator 2, there’s that scene where Arnold is able to steal the van because the keys are left in the sun visor. I’m wondering, is putting the keys in the sun visor standard operating procedure for the SWAT team?
Some police officers leave the keys in the vehicle in case they have to drive away quickly. They don’t do this when they’re eating lunch or anything though. Once in a while you’ll hear about someone stealing a police car on the news. It wouldn’t surprise me if SWAT left the keys in the van. Especially in a situation like T2 where the whole friggin police force was right there. Who in their right mind would steal a car with all those cops around? Besides a cybernetic organism from the future.
