I would recommend History Reclaimed rather than Case Closed. When you read it you will understand why, even though the authors reach the same conclusion.
Warning- it is a large book which on standard sizes would run to 13 volumes.
I think you mean Bugliosi’s “Reclaiming History.” It’s 1500 pages and comes with a DVD-ROM full of supplemental material. Definitely more content than Posner’s Case Closed, but Posner’s book is readable while Bugliosi’s is more like a reference book.
That will teach me not to check before I post. Of course you are correct.
And Posners book is fascinating.
Unless, like I was, you are a conspiracy theorist. In which case the book becomes more embarrassing as you read along. And slowly realize what a crock you had been accepting.
I never accepted a conspiracy but was prepared to understand any argument. Case Closed sealed the deal for me.

Heck, even the late 1970s congressional review of the assassination strongly implied, if not came out and said that there was probably a second gunman.
There was a famous newspaper journalist in Toronto whose name escapes me. He covered the assassination for 3 days straight, mentioned in his memoirs being fairly close to the front of the pack when Ruby shot Oswald, and got quite a few calls from colleagues not long after. Apparently the tape looped over and over again on TV (not that we do that today!?) and everyone called and told him “Don’t you ever shave?”
