How good is this book? Is there a better book on the JFK assassination?

and from the other perspective.

I personally believe he is a hack.
http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/ has opinions about everything and lots of links. I believed in conspiracy but Posner convinced me otherwise.
Ten years on, there is no better book on the assassination.
Yes, I think Posner makes conclusive cases by clear evidence that both Oswald and Ruby killed opportunistically and without conspiracies.
Posner establishes this by proving that Oswald and Ruby were in the presence of their victims by pure coincidence, however predisposed both were to grabbing any opportunities for lasting infamy with both hands.
Had Oswald not delayed his transfer from the Dallas jail by asking to get different clothing, he would have been out of the building long before Ruby was even in the neighborhood.
Had not a friend of the woman with whom Marina Oswald was staying referred to an opening at the TSBD when solicited for help in finding Marina’s husband a job, Oswald would never have had the opportunity to shoot Kennedy.
All the various foolish conspiracies fall apart on these two points.
An elaboration of Posner’s book can be found in the excellent Frontline program, “Who Was Lee Harvey Oswald?”
