Yep, crows travel in a murder. I recall reading somewhere (in other words, no cite) that a group of ravens is called an ‘unkindness’. Someone else can use that in a clever joke.
Polycarp misspells a funny :). Asheville is situated in Buncombe County. The first time someone told me that the word “bunk” (as in, “That’s just bunk, and you know it”) was derived from my county’s name, I thought they were teasing me, the same way my sixth-grade teacher was when he told us the word “gullible” was derived from the book “Gullible’s Travels.” But sure enough, Felix Walker, a congressman from my district over 150 years ago, prefaced a speech full of bullshit by saying, “I shall not be speaking to the House, but to Buncombe.” A word for nonsense was born.
